NURAPLAN
NURAPLAN waterproofing membranes are reinforced PVC based materials, specially formulated to waterproof roofs, decks, patios, gutters, tanks, ponds, tunnels, channels and roof gardens.
NURAPLAN membranes are reinforced with a special mesh to prevent dimensional changes during application or when the product ages. They are strong, tough, lightweight and of the highest quality and can be used either exposed or concealed under tiles or a lyater of concrete.
NURAPLAN membranes can be loosely laid o mechanically fixed. It is supplied in roll form, thereby reducing the number of joints in installing the membrane. During application, the joints are welded together using a heat-welding machine.
NURAPLAN membranes are produced under strict, controlled under strict controlled factory conditions that result in a high quality products of uniform thickness.
Type of Formceal P-3-PL
NURAPLAN membranes are available in various types. Their usage depends on the application required. Accesory products are also available to aid the installation of Nuraplan membranes.
NURAPLAN waterproofing products are available in the following main grades:
· Nuraplan 12
Nuraplan 12 is 1.2mm thick and is the standard product used for general waterproofing purposes. It is used both as an exposed and concealed waterproofing system. Also available in 1.5mm, 1.8mm, & 2mm thickness.
· Nuraplan V
Nuraplan V is a bitumen compatible, with polyester fleece backing, reinforce PVC membrane. It is suitable for both new roofs and re-roofing applications. It can be used in exposed and concealed system. Available in 2.2mm & 2.5mm thickness.
· Nuraplan GR 15
Nuraplan GR 15 is specifically designed for used with HITCHINS DAKU EXTENSIVE ROOF GARDEN SYSTEM.
· Nuraplan Protex SK
Nuraplan Protex SK is a self-adhesive PVC membranes, it is compatible with bitumen and has good adhesion to concrete.

· Resistance/Durability
NURAPLAN is ultra-violet resistant, rot resistant, weahter resistant and resistant to temperature variations.
· Flexibility
NURAPLAN, despite being strong and tough, is flexible enough to withstand thermal and other movement within the substrate. Due to its reinforcement, it has a high tear resistance thus it is not affected by strong winds.
· Vapour permeability
NURAPLAN is vapour permeable despite its thickness, allowing it to breathe and releasing trapped moisture into the atmosphere.
· Welded Joints
Welded joints are superior to glued joints and will not open up.
· Low flammability
NURAPLAN is resistant to flame and radiating heat.
· Non-slip
NURAPLAN has a non-slip surface, eliminating the danger of slipping in the wet, even on sloping roofs.
· Envirnmentally friendly
NURAPLAN does not contain cadmium or lead and can be recycled.
Warranty
Only Hitchins’ trained applicators are approved to undertake all application work.
Formak 629 carries a long-term warranty for both the material an workmanship. The warranty is further backed by Hitchins International Fidelity Fund.
